Honda is going to launch Diesel version of Honda City in the Indian market. The decision has been taken due to the rising demand of diesel engine, as the price of petrol is increasing day-by-day. The diesel version will have 1.4L iCTDi (intelligent Common Rail Turbocharged Direct Injection) diesel engine. This car will be competing with all the other diesel cars like Hyundai Verna Transform, Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Vento.
The Diesel Version of Sedan is expected to be faster than its Petrol Version and would be able to reach 100 kmph within 10 sec. The price of Diesel Variant of Honda City will be nearly 11,00,000 Rs.
